Big Jake's Sweet BBQ Sauce

Big Jake's Sweet & Basic BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 c. ketchup

  • ½ c. dark brown sugar

  • 1 tbls. Honey

  • ¼ c. apple juice

  • half the juice of a lemon

  • ½ tea. Sea salt

  • ¼ tea. Liquid smoke (hickory)

  • ¼ tea. Cayenne pepper

Instructions:

Combine in a sauce pan and bring to a slow boil. Then simmer for 15 min. This is a very simple, yet very effective sauce.

 

*Note: If you have had my b.b.q., this is not the sauce I currently use, although I did @ one time.
